SolarRoof.jpg Solar Photovolaic (PV) Systems
$0.00
Generic Basic Grid-Tie PV System. A Grid-Tie system's design basicly is controlled by two primary factors: your budget and your real estate. A Grid-Tie system feeds the power you collect directly into your house. Any excess power goes back to the electric company grid and they credit your bill if you made more than you used. No batteries, no figuring out how many watts your house uses. Very simple calculations... how much you want to invest and how much space you have to deploy the panels. The amount of power you can collect from the sun basicly is limited only by the area (roof/real estate) you have to collect it. This is why the most important part of any solar installation is the Site Survey. If you don't have the sunshine - you just don't have the ability to make power. Average Grid-Tie PV System Net Cost to you after rebate & credits: $8,000. For additional informaton click "Add to Cart".

SolarHouse.jpg Stand Alone Solar Photovoltaic System
$0.00
This is the OFF-GRID type power system for that mountain cabin miles away from the nearest power line. You make your own electricity, store it in batteries so you have power when the sun dosen't shine. The design of a stand alone system requires a comprehensive energy audit of your home to determine the appropriate system capacity. The batteries and associated charging equipment add additional expense and a maintenance factor to your system. These systems work like the solar powered garden lights that collect solar energy during the day and use it at night to produce light. Anticipated Net Cost after rebates and tax incentives $16,000. (Note; That might actually be less than a mile of wiring and poles!) For additional informaton click "Add to Cart".

EvacTube.jpg Solar Thermal Hot Water
$0.00
While much of the media attention has been directed toward solar electric systems, for the home owner the most productive and best return on investment comes from a solar water heating system. Hot water and space heating are the largest part of your energy budget. If you can directly replace gas, oil or electricity to heat your water you can have a dramatic reduction in energy costs. These system are relatively inexpensive and last 25-30 years. Federal & State Tax Credits and Energy Investment Credits are available to offset the initial purchase and the sun contibutes to lowering your energy bill the next 25+ years. Average System Net Cost to you after rebates and tax incentives: $5000. Anticipated savings: $700 (propane) to $1000 (electric) per year. For additional informaton click "Add to Cart".

AirDolphin.jpg Wind Power
$0.00
If your site's location has continuous or periods of steady wind, your electric power could be generated on your roof or in your back yard with a wind turbine. Wind turbines can be configured to feed your elecricity needs and any power that you don't use goes back to the electric company and they credit you account. For remote locations without electric power lines, batteries would be used to store the electricity for windless days. Wind systems require an extensive Site Survey to properly calculate the availabe wind energy available. Anticipated Net Cost after rebates and tax credits: $4000. For additional informaton click "Add to Cart".

StreamEngineHydro.jpg Hydro Electric Power
$0.00
If you have a site that has the water capacity and elevation (head) to run a micro hyrdo plant you are lucky. Micro Hydro plants work like the big commercial hydro power plants; the weight of the water spins a turbine that spins a generator to make electricity. With the right conditions, a micro hydro plant can make a lot more power per dollar than a PV system. A micro hydro system puts out power 24 hours a day. Anticipated Hydro System Net Cost to you after rebates and tax credits: $3,000-6,000. For additional informaton click "Add to Cart".
